In the wake of the RG Kar scandal, yet another incident involving a civic volunteer has surfaced. Santosh Lal Prasad, a civic volunteer, was arrested by the Entally police in Kolkata on charges of molesting a woman in the Shambhu Lane area.
According to police reports, Prasad allegedly entered a neighbor’s house under the influence of alcohol and attempted to molest a woman.
Hearing her screams, residents quickly came to her aid, and a formal complaint was filed at the Entally police station. Acting on the complaint, the police promptly arrested Prasad, who now faces charges related to the incident.
